Hi All,
Several of you have mentioned how you have modified the bow roller to accept a 45# CQR. I've purchased a new anchor and find myself in that position. I know Cars cut out a straight portion of the outer tube and put in a curved piece, but I am hardpressed to visualize the modification. Pictures and any help would be appreciated.

I only had to enlarge the teak opening to properly fit my 45# CQR. I cannot pull it up straight though, some "twisting" of the shank is needed. I discovered this two years after having bought the boat!
