I was considering glassing over the forward seacock. I haven't opened it in years, except to make sure it still works. The only thing that keeps me from doing so is the "what if" factor. OK, that and it would be some work. But, what if the holding tank pump fails? I haven't had a need to use that either since discharge is prohibited in the Salish Sea.
If I were to eliminate the direct line overboard, I would still some kind of valve on the outflow from the head in order to make the deck pumpout work.
