Sail plans are more variable than almost any other spec on these vessels. They depend greatly on the commissioning entity.
Check out the Union 36 folks as well. There are a lot more of them than there are HC 36, plus the Union 36 was the closer intermediate relative of the Mao To 36, which length was indicated in the HIN as "11" as in 11 meters, which is about an inch different from 36' - just some trivia for you.
