mast from wood to aluminum

If anyone has information regarding what is involved in changing over from a wood mast to an aluminum one I would appreciate some insight
The vessel is a Mao Ta 36

Did you purchase this boat in FL recently? I think I saw it on Craig's list. It looked like a great deal.

No it wasn't that one this one was in Ma.(If your talking about the yellowish one in Fla).It came with a lot more goodies than that one in Fla. but the one in Fla.had an aluminum mast which would be nice
