Bolts!? 12mm x 2.0 on 1982 HC36
Posted: Sat Mar 05, 2016 3:55 pmI just change my cutlass bearing and the bolts are ready to go, the thread on them a clearly not 1.75 and they are for sure not 1/2inch. Has any one ran into this problem? Also putting on a new dolphin sticker chain plate and the same store there. Putting the old bolt back in are not going to happin, the are done. Any ideas on what to do? I am leaning to getting new one fabricated. But am woundering if drilling and tapping would work. I have no idea if what the bolt are going into in the fiberglass, bolt, plat, sleeve, etc...
