Has anyone taken apart the wooden blocks on their HC33? I removed the wood screws from the round plates on each side but they don't seen to want to come out. Any suggestions?

Hi,
They are screwed, just need a two fingers tool or something like that, the pictures will show it.
By the way, what kind of grease will be good for the bearings?
