Sailing from Europe across Atlantic in November 2009

Hello all,

I've been looking into purchasing a Hans Christian Yacht for some time. Due to a number of reasons I have decided to put the purchase on hold and spend the better part of 12 months sailing on various boats (HC and others) to get a better idea of the pros and cons of as many boats as possible.

I still have a very soft spot for Hans Christians and would love the opportunity to crew on one for a reasonable amount of time.

Specifically I am looking to sail form anywhere in Europe to the Carribean or Central/South America leaving in late October/early November.

I am 35 years old, have sailed since I was about 7 and am happy and able to do most things aboard a yacht.
