Removing Rub Rails On Hull

I am getting ready to paint the hull of Giggling Dolphins and wanted to know if anyone has ever removed the Rub Rails going down the sides of the hull, they look like they are screwed on....just wanted to see what I was getting into.

If they were put on like my HC34, I would not attempt it.

They are bedded down with something that resembles 5200 adhesive. You will most likely destroy them in the process
