Good source for bronze fittings

Postby Anonymous » Fri Dec 09, 2005 6:29 pm

Hello All;

Its been a while since I've posted to the board since I sold my HC.

I now have a Lord Nelson Victory Tug (the nasty conversion to power!).

I remember previous discussions asking where to find bronze fittings like bowsprit stars, etc., and I found some the other day and wanted to share the link with you.

Here's the link to Port Townsend Foundry. http://www.porttownsendfoundry.com/id52.htm

I just ordered two stars, one for each end of my nameboard on the wheelhouse.

All the best,
John Barker

PTF does nice work. I had them cast my transom hung rudder fittings and a great looking bronze gooseneck and mast bands for my spruce mast.

Ken
