Truck Transport

Anyone have a good recommendation for moving 48T from TX to CA? Would like to go with a transport company that another Hans Christian owner has used in the past and had good luck with. Thanks! :)

Try using the search function in the upper right hand corner. Search for "truck" or "shipper."

I used Dudley (www.dudleyboats.com) to transport my 43 Telstar from South Carolina to Washington state and they did a good job. However, a 48T is a big boat and you're going to have to strip the top sides down to almost the cabin top, so don't neglect to account for the cost of tearing the boat down and putting it back together again. For my boat they had to take off the pulpits and they broke off a stainless piece and lost it. Getting that replaced cost me almost a full boat unit ($1000) right there.
