Hans Christian 39 or 44 leads wanted

Postby cjandbb » Sat Jun 14, 2014 8:17 pm

Hello All,

My Wife and I are looking for a Hans Christian 39 or 44. If anyone knows of one sitting in a yard needing work or not being used please let us know. A few years back a 39 was down in SC, but was more boat than we needed at the time. Any ideas if the new owner ever finished putting her back together? Now with our two large dogs (a Chocolate Lab and a Newfoundland) and our first born on the way a pilothouse seems just right. Please keep us in mind vinalhavencandyco@hotmail.com and let us know if you have any leads. Josh and Cassie

This has been sitting at the storage yard in Everett, WA for a couple years. I don't have any other info but you might be able to call the harbor office.

I have no idea where this boat is. The broker seems to be in Fairhaven, WA - near Bellingham.
Good luck!

Thanks for the leads. The one in Everett is very intriguing. Just what I'm looking for but east on the Mississippi. Thanks for the help. Josh

The boat in Everett is my boat. In the middle of a repower/refit as we speak. I am, right now, covered in teak and paint dust from sanding while waiting for the guys at Harbor Marine to be ready for us to move her to he shop. We are in th Everett work yard now under the cover so we are not as limited by weather.

She was almost given up on after a failed repower attempt last year. She is the one from the thread right below this one. We have settled on either the 54hp naturally aspirated or the 75hp turbo.

She is not given up on however, we just had to regroup, save more money and come back to her.

I just repowered my 44 HCPH with a 140 hp naturally aspirated Isuzu. Be careful about going too light on the HP. She is a heavy beast as you know

Cheers,
