Roster info...

Hey there John,

Just wondering if any changes were planned for the roster list in the "Members Only" section.

I like the info that was on the old one.... Boat name, owner, type boat, contact info etc.

Any specific reason for the change?

Yeppers there is a reason. The membership is now digitally managed in a database instead of manually. So the excell spreadsheet no longer exists. I think however if you were to drum up enough support by your fellow members. I would be willing to look into a way to recreate that format and having it auto-updated in the member's only section.

I kinda figured as much. At some point it would be nice.

FWIW-It was nice when you saw a HC out and about to be able to put a boat name a person and all that other and stuff.

On a side note. You will be able to access the real and full members roster and search it. But I have not made that link available, because I want to make sure we don't run into any privacy issues.

John, my vote is for having that info eventually - one good thing is when you look at posts, present or previous, it's not always obvious which size boat the pearls of wisdom relate to. Good to be able to check that up on the roster.
