About the origin of this thread.
I finally had the time to look closely at my fuel return line fitting. After unplugging the line I started unscrewing the fitting, since I didn't feel any resistance from a possible nut from underneath, I went all the way up wishing for the best. Well, nut or not, I couldn't tell. I concluded that it was simply tapped to the ss lid and all I had to do was to clean it up, add some teflon tape and screw it back tightly (thanks Mike).
Doesn't seem to be leaking anymore, I'm not sure if it'll last (teflon vs diesel?) but I can always go back and try something different next time.
Thanks everyone for your support?
