Reverse Polarity Damages

Postby bacchante » Tue Jul 19, 2016 3:08 pm

Hello,
I own a 43T and I am living on board but recently I am
away for work. I asked to a neighbor of mine to charge my batteries once a
week. I have 3 x 225 Ah Mastervolt AGM batteries.
Even I made detailed instruction ; as far as understand he plugged the 220 V cable in reverse and
the system shut it self down. He manage to plug it right afterwards but now batteries are loose, I mean they are loosing charge very fast.
I would like to know about what kind of malfunctions could had happen.
I'll be glad if anyone ,who had same experience , share their thoughts with me.

Thank you.
Best Regards,
Ömer ALKAN
