1987 Hans Christian 43 MkII

I have a amazing Hans Christian 43T MkII that I hate to sell but unfortunately, our family size has changed with a new baby boy and we need to sell our dream boat and put off cruising for the foreseeable future. It has a great pedigree and did the pacific loop twice in her lifetime. Truly one of the greatest cruising sailboats ever made. Every detail of her has been carefully planned out for crossing oceans safely and exploring the world away from the dock. We have put over $60,000 into her recently with maintenance and upgrades. I have done 1000's of hours of wood work to put her back to new condition by remaking all teak deck boxes, cockpit table, shower stall, butterfly hatch, bunged entire deck and refinished binnacle. I completely redid the mast, taking all paint off to bare aluminum, alumiprep, zinc chromate and 3 coats of interlux perfection. All new sheeves, electrical, everything rebedded with teff jel and all disimilar metals isolated. Bow Sprit was taken down to raw wood, inspected for any rot (none was found) recoated with 2 coats of Mass epoxy and 3 coats of interlux perfection. The only main items that are left to finish is:

1) The Watermaker needs a new membrane and high pressure manifold ($600 from HRO)
2) Install Radar and chart plotter of your choice. We were waiting on this until we were ready to cross the pacific as new systems are constantly released. We have cruised throughout the northwest with our Ipad and onboard wifi system.
3) Install SSB tuner (previously taken out due to working on the aft locker steering quadrant)

She is a MK II layout and not your standard Hans Christian 43T. This is the most desirable Hans Christian layout ever. Starting forward in the cabin is a large sail locker with full forward shower and head. The forward cabin is a comfortable Queen Pullman berth with custom memory foam mattress. Working our way back through the cabin, a large Settee and dual lounge chairs midship. We just had all the cushions remade and chairs reupholstered with Sunbrella Fabric. Large Galley with quartz countertop for Cooking and entertaining, dual Flemming Fridge and Freezer. To Starboard we have a newly reconfigured Navigation Station for instrumentation and communication. The Aft Cabin is a Full Quarter berth memory foam mattress with full head to starboard. There is far too much to list but here a basic breakdown.
