After 26 years of owning and cruising NAKIA it's time to move on. I'm posting her here first so Hans Christian lovers can have first shot at her before I put her in brokerage. If she sells here I'll knock the brokerage fee off the asking price ($65000), basically if you buy her through this add you're going to get a 10% discount ($58500).

This shows the rebuilt foredeck. The original sampson's posts were removed and replaced with stainless. The underside of the deck was re-enforced with multiple layers of bi axial fiberglass and plywood.

How big of a difference does it make adding that hatch over the Pullman? I’m going to guess a huge difference?

Two things changed cruising NAKIA immensely. 1) removing the teak decks. The first summer we cruised the Sea of Cortez, with the teak decks, we had the full sun shade and side curtains mounted as often as possible. Even then the teak decks heated up so much they would radiate heat into the interior well into the night. After the teak was removed we no longer had to fit the huge sun-shade. 2) the hatch over the pullman. At anchor with the boat pointing into any breeze, the pullman was no longer a stuffy, hot place to try to sleep in but a cool airy bed. It was great to lay with the hatch wide open and look up to see the stars.
