Hello All;

After years of wanting to take the USCG captain's exam, just for the heck of it, I finally did so this past May - and passed. I picked up a 50 ton masters license for power, steam, sail and towing.

I wanted to share the program I used with you, in case you were also interested. It was a study-at-home course from New England Maritime at this link: http://www.nemaritime.com/

I actually bought the study kit for the "Six Pack" test, but once I got to the testing station I was talked into taking the larger exam, and I am now glad that I did so.

The program prepared me very well for the test. I bought it in January and studied for the four months leading up to my test date.

I learned a great deal!

All the best,
John Barker
Lord Nelson Victory Tug
DUN WURKIN
